The problem
Fixed-location tyre shops carry the customer's cost.
The traditional tyre shop is tied to one address. Customers have to interrupt their day, drive to the workshop, and wait — often during exactly the hours they most need their vehicle.
For the operator, a fixed location means rent, utilities and staff overheads that have to be paid whether the bays are full or empty. It also limits reach: a workshop can only realistically serve the customers close enough to visit it.
